This is allowed to happen once a year, so this is borderline legal way to have your licenses on two places at the same time, in case you find the lost USB stick. If my company has purchased the license it would be nice to be able to use it on all our Venue systems. Is it possible to put the Waves License on an iLok? Or will I need to use a separate USB stick that gets carried around separately (or maybe installed in the Profile too). I don't have much experience with iLoks, so i don't know if that's normal (that they don't appear as normal usb storage devices). Pro Tools Ultimate 2021.12, iLok Manager 5.5.2 GM, Cloud managed mode, Mac Pro 5.1, OS High Sierra 10.13.6. Then session opens, but all my other cloud authorizations are missing. For the first time, all current versions of Pro Tools also now require an iLok for authorisation. Its hard to love any dongle-based copy-protection scheme, but the iLok system is. So perhaps its no surprise that PACE have come up with a new and improved version of the iLok. In Pro Tools M-Powered, the iLok USB dongle is used for the program too. Pro Tools then ask me to go through the Pro Tools license activation procedure, including login to iLok. Amazingly, the humble iLok dongle has been helping us to manage licences so we can legitimately use our chosen creative tools for 10 years now. This started happening to me a few weeks ago, just out of nowhere. Anyone else having Ptools crash/quit saying it has lost connection with Pace/iLok authorization?
